Kelly A. Rusch, vice president for research and creative activity, announced Jolynne Tschetter, executive director of corporate and foundation research relations in Research and Creative Activity Offices’s Business Development unit, has been named the interim executive director of the Research Foundation. She succeeds Dale Zetocha, who retired effective June 30.
Tschetter will continue to serve as executive director of Corporate and Foundation Research Relations, according to Rusch. “We are currently developing a plan for better coordination of the Technology Transfer unit, Business Development unit and Research Foundation,” Rusch said, noting additional details will be announced as the plan progresses.
In addition, Neil Dyer, professor of animal sciences, has been named the interim attending veterinarian. He will split his time between the Research and Creative Activity office and his faculty office in Van Es Hall. A search for a permanent attending veterinarian will begin within the next month.
