Betty Gronneberg, MS ’12, software engineering, and founder of UCodeGirl, is scheduled to speak at NDSU later this month.
The talk, “Software Engineer Turned Social Entrepreneur: Lessons from an NDSU Grad,” is geared toward students, faculty and staff in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics community. It is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 22, in Quentin Burdick Building 104.
Gronneberg was selected to the prestigious Bush Foundation Leadership Fellow program while at NDSU. She later founded UCodeGirl, a non-profit organization that empowers young girls to pursue opportunities in technology careers.
Gronneberg will share her story and a call for all STEM students to join together to solve tomorrow’s toughest challenges in science and technology.
A social reception for students, faculty and staff will follow in the Quentin Burdick Building atrium.
