Beardsley is also set to speak to College of Business students on Oct. 20 at noon at the Barry Hall Mezzanine as part of the Wold Lecture Series in Business Ethics. The intent of the lecture series is to help students delve more deeply into issues of ethics and leadership.
“We’re excited to have Mr. Beardsley visit the College of Business at NDSU. His life story and powerful messages of courage, character and perseverance are ones that every student and businessperson should hear,” said Scott Beaulier, dean of the College of Business. “Students and community members will gain a lot of insight into how to live life with a positive outlook, despite adversity and tragedy.”
