NDSU’s Department of Biological Sciences, along with co-sponsor USDA Red River Valley Agricultural Research Center, are set to host a seminar by Leigh Boardman, post-doctoral associate in the Department of Entomology and Nematology at the University of Florida, Gainesville.
Boardman’s talk, “Surviving Simultaneous Stressors,” is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 20, at 3 p.m. in Loftsgard 114. Everyone is welcome.
She previously was a doctoral fellow at Stellenbosch University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree and doctorate.
Among her interests are integrative and comparative biology, genotype-phenotype interactions and insect molecular mechanisms for tolerance to environmental stressors.
As a student-focused, land-grant, research university, we serve our citizens.
