The Office of Human Resources/Payroll will be presenting a mini workshop, titled "Human Resources Hot Topics." The workshop will cover legislative and policy updates and new processes in the staff employment function.
The workshop will be beneficial for anyone involved in hiring processes. Supervisors are encouraged to attend. Two sessions will be offered on Monday, Aug. 10, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. or Wednesday, Aug. 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Both sessions will be at the Alumni Center in the Reimer’s Room.
The agenda for the workshop includes a legislative update on the North Dakota Veteran’s Preference Law, an overview of Policy 112: Pre-Employment and Current Employee Criminal Record Disclosure implementation, employer of choice, targeted recruitment for a successful applicant pool and an introduction of expanded orientation for new staff employees.
