Career Expo 2018, hosted by the NDSU Career Center, is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 6, through Wednesday, Feb. 7, at the Fargodome. The event attracts hundreds of NDSU students looking to interact with potential employers.
“Businesses and organizations are registered to recruit NDSU students to fill both full-time and internship positions,” explained Smita Garg, Career Center assistant director for employer engagement. “It is an excellent way to connect with employers to learn about opportunities and what skills they are seeking.”
The opening day runs from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and focuses on agriculture, business, humanities and social sciences. Approximately 65 employers have registered for booths.
The second day is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and concentrates on positions in engineering, design, science and technology. About 137 employers are registered.
The NDSU Career Center is the institution’s primary, centralized career resource center, with a mission to prepare students for maximum employability beginning in the first year and continuing through graduation. The center connects students, alumni, faculty, staff, organizations and employers for the benefit of all involved.
As a student-focused, land-grant, research university, we serve our citizens.
