The menu includes:

• Fresh garden salad with a side of homemade ranch dressing and whole wheat dinner roll.

• Miso salmon served with a side of brown rice and roasted asparagus.

• Berry crisp topped with vanilla Greek yogurt.

Dietetics students Symone Jacobs and Kourtney Giese will manage the meal with the help of their classmates.

The cost is $10 per person and includes beverages. Cash or check are acceptable forms of payment.

Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are preferred due to limited seating. The café is open to the public and parking is available in NDSU’s visitor lot on the south side of the Memorial Union. The Katherine K. Burgum Family Life Center is connected to the Memorial Union.

The 800 Café is operated by NDSU dietetic students. All meals are under 800 calories. Sherri Nordstrom Stastny, associate professor of health, nutrition and exercise sciences, is the class instructor.

The café is open Thursdays and Fridays through April 26.
