NDSU construction management students put on an impressive performance at the 2018 Upper Midwest Intercollegiate Construction Management Quiz Bowl, held at the University of Minnesota Oct. 5.
NDSU Team One featuring students Tracer Bowar, Ryan Holte, Connor Stevens and Nick Jensen placed second. NDSU Team Two including students Cooper Dillon, Joseph Knapp, Isaiah Ewald and Trevor Ellison placed third.
“Our students had a great time and put on a great showing,” said Jerry Gao, chair of the construction management and engineering department. “Placing second and third is an exciting achievement for our department, and shows we’re succeeding in our mission of providing affordable access to a world-class education.”
The Quiz Bowl, sponsored by the Minnesota Construction Association, is open to all Upper Midwest schools that offer degrees in Construction Management.
The event has been held annually since 2012 and is judged by industry professionals. Questions represent the body of knowledge students should know when they graduate.
