Garden sessions scheduled to get ready for spring

SHARE

NDSU Extension is set to hold a series of workshops on a variety of gardening topics.

Forums are scheduled Monday nights, from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M., March 25 to April 15. Participants can join the forum online or attend at one of 24 NDSU Extension offices across the state.

"This is a great opportunity for gardeners to learn about the latest research from NDSU," said Tom Kalb, NDSU Extension horticulturist. "They can watch live presentations and ask their questions of the researchers."

A team of experts in subsequent forums will share information on selecting hydrangeas and shade trees, growing raspberries, pruning shrubs, caring for trees, mowing lawns, growing flowers for bouquets, attracting bees, improving garden soil and more.

The forums are free of charge. Free samples of seeds and bulbs will be provided to people attending at NDSU Extension sites.
