The Research and Technology Park and the College of Business have planned the first annual Innovation Week for Jan. 25-29 at Richard H. Barry Hall. The purpose of Innovation Week is to engage the private sector, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, NDSU faculty and other resources with the students to increase awareness for innovation, technology and new business start-ups.
Several events for the students will be taking place throughout the week. Breakfast with President Richard Hanson is planned for Tuesday, Jan. 26, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the Richard H. Barry Hall Atrium.
Breakout sessions are planned for Tuesday, Jan. 26 and Thursday, Jan. 28, in Richard H. Barry Hall Dawson and Roers rooms. Students will learn about new technology applications, funding and starting new ventures.
A reception is planned for Thursday, Jan. 28, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Richard H. Barry Hall Atrium. Refreshments will be served.
