Michele Reid, dean of libraries, has been elected to the Executive Committee of the Association of College and Research Libraries' University Libraries Section.
Association of College and Research Libraries, a division of the American Library Association with a membership of more than 12,000, is dedicated to enhancing the ability of academic library and information professionals to serve the information needs of the higher education community. Since its establishment in 1937, the University Libraries Section has been actively involved in shaping the future of university library environments, and in fostering cooperation on issues of mutual concern.
