Today, NDSU presidential candidate John Gardner, vice president of economic development and global engagement at Washington State University in Seattle, will present an open forum for campus and community members from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Festival Concert Hall of the Reineke Fine Arts Center.
A media opportunity is scheduled beforehand from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. From 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Gardner will be available to meet and greet the public. The forum will be recorded and posted on the NDSU presidential search Web site www.ndsu.edu/news/transition and attendees will have the opportunity to submit feedback on each candidate at each forum. Comments also may be e-mailed to ndsu.presidential.search@ndsu.edu.
The search committee will meet on May 13 at 1 pm in the Plains Room at the NDSU Memorial Union to select three candidates to forward to the State Board of Higher Education. A final selection is expected at the state board's May 24 meeting at NDSU.
