The Tri-College University (TCU) has added two new directors to their board. Pamela Astrup and Ron P. Robson were elected to three-year terms that began July 1.
Astrup, a graduate of NDSU, earned degrees in education and Spanish and took advantage of the Tri-College course exchange when pursuing her Spanish major. She has worked for Moorhead Area Public Schools since 1995 and lives in Dilworth, Minn.
Robson is a graduate of Augustana College, Sioux Falls, S.D. He is the US Bank regional president for southeast North Dakota and serves as state president for North Dakota. He lives in Fargo.
Astrup replaces Shirley Montgomery who served on the TCU board for three terms, and Robson replaces Brian Walters who completed one term on the board. Astrup and Robson will join current board members President Edna Szymanski of Minnesota State University Moorhead, President Dean L. Bresciani of NDSU, Interim President Paul Dovre of Concordia College, Douglas Sillers, Bruce Furness and Paul Marquart.
The mission of Tri-College University is to assist Concordia College, Minnesota State University Moorhea and NDSU by promoting cooperative efforts that will enrich the academic environment for the benefit of students, faculty and the community.
