NDSU's Department of Residence Life has hired Chas Lietaert and Stephanie Hedge as hall directors in Pavek Hall and Thompson Hall, respectively.

While earning a bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University's School of Broadcast and Cinematic Arts, Lietaert served two years as a multicultural assistant, one year as a resident assistant and two summers as a conference hall director. He was an active member of the Student Government Association and worked at the student radio station.

Hedge is a recent graduate of South Dakota State University, where she earned a master's degree in counseling with an emphasis in student affairs. While at SDSU, she served in an assistant complex director role, and was also president of Chi Sigma Iota, an academic counseling fraternity. Hedge earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

Lietaert and Hedge will have responsibility for overall leadership and management of their residence halls. They will supervise student staff, advise hall government and serve as university conduct officers, in addition to their daily administrative duties. During the summer months, they will work with conference participants staying in Pavek and Thompson halls.
