Om Prakash Yadav, associate professor of industrial and manufacturing engineering, has been invited to serve on the editorial board of the International Journal of Six Sigma and Competitive Advantage. Published by Inderscience, the journal presents state-of-the-art, high-quality research developments and applied work in all areas of quality engineering, six sigma, design for six sigma, quality management, lean-six sigma and other continuous improvement efforts.
Yadav is involved in quality management, reliability assessment and design optimization, failure analysis, lean-six sigma application in supply chain and other manufacturing/service operations related research. He was chosen for the board because of his contribution to research and publication in related areas and participation in international research conferences and for reviewing manuscripts. Yadav also is associate editor of the International Journal of Reliability and Safety and editorial board member of the International Journal of Quality Engineering and Technology published by Inderscience Publishers. He is an elected member of the board of directors for Quality Control and Reliability Engineering, a division of the Institute of Industrial Engineering.
Yadav reviews research manuscripts for 20 journals. He also is an organizing and technical committee member and paper reviewer for several international conferences including the Society of Automotive Engineers, Industrial Engineering Research Conference and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management.
