The North Dakota EPSCoR 2010 State Conference is scheduled for Sept. 29 at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks, N.D. The meeting is collocated with the R&D Showcase and will provide opportunities for interaction among university faculty, students, business and governmental leaders. The focus will be on research accomplishments with a graduate and undergraduate poster session and small group discussions to identify emergent collaborative research opportunities.
The keynote speaker will be Robert Twilley, director of wetland biochemistry and professor of oceanography and coastal science at Louisiana State University. He recently addressed the National Press Club on the Gulf oil spill.
