Student scholars at North Dakota State University are scheduled to be recognized during halftime at the Bison versus University of South Dakota football game on Saturday, Sept. 25. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. at the Fargodome.
President Dean L. Bresciani will recognize new recipients of the NDSU Presidential Scholarship and current members of the dean’s list. The stadium announcer will give an introduction and, as a group, the scholars will walk onto the field. In addition, their families will be acknowledged.
About 250 freshmen are recipients of a Presidential Scholarship, and more than 2,400 upper division students were designated on the most recent dean’s list.
“We are eager to celebrate your academic achievements by having you join us on the field at half time,” President Bresciani wrote to the scholars. “I look forward to seeing you at the game on Sept. 25.”
