Scholarship honoring Danielson established

A new scholarship has been created with the NDSU Development Foundation in honor of Russ Danielson’s contributions to the livestock industry in North Dakota. The scholarship was announced at the North Dakota Stockmen’s Association Convention on Sept. 25. Lead donors, including alumni and friends of the Department of Animal Sciences, have pledged more than $40,000 to create the scholarship.

Danielson is a professor emeritus with the Department of Animal Sciences. His career at NDSU spanned more than 40 years and included teaching beef cattle production and introduction to animal sciences courses. He also advised the Saddle and Sirloin Club for many years.
