The NDSU Baroque Festival will begin Saturday, Nov. 6, with a Chamber Concert and will continue into Sunday, Nov. 7, with a Student Concert. The Baroque Festival will conclude on Dec. 12 with a performance of Handel’s “Messiah”
The Chamber Concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church (2010 N. Elm St., Fargo) and will feature the Baroque Festival Orchestra and Choir. They will perform pieces by Haydn, J.S. Bach and Handel and feature talented soloists such as Benjamin Sung, violin; Jihye Chang Sung, piano; Virginia Sublett, soprano; Jenny Poehls, flute; and Jeremy Brekke, trumpet. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and $5 for students.
The Student Concert is set for 2 p.m. in Festival Concert Hall and will feature student musicians and soloists. Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for students and seniors.
