The Information Technology Division has hired four new staff members: Galen Mayfield, Jason Blosser, Matt Reimer and Daniel Erichsen.
Mayfield is executive director for enterprise systems and application development in the enterprise computer and infrastructure department. He previously led information technology projects at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore and held a senior IT position for more than five years with Data Management Services, an information technology contractor to the National Cancer Institute at Fort Detrick, Md. Mayfield earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from North Central College in Naperville, Ill., master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland in College Park.
Blosser is technology systems coordinator in the telecommunications and emergency support technologies department. He has 15 years of experience and previously was director of information technology at Manchester (Conn.) Community College. Blosser earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication from Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, and master’s degree in religious studies from Hartford (Conn.) Seminary.
Reimer is a network infrastructure technician in the enterprise computing and infrastructure department. He previously was a technician with IdeaOne. Reimer is a graduate of Northwest Technical College, Wadena, Minn., and a native of Carrington, N.D.
Erichsen is interactive media specialist in the information technology services department. He earned a master’s degree in international business economics from Aalborg University, Denmark, and bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wyoming, Laramie, where he was coordinator of university scheduling.
