Joan Krush, academic advisor/lecturer in the computer science department, co-wrote an article for the National Academic Advising Association’s (NACADA) publication, Academic Advising Today. The article, “Professional Advisors and Faculty Advisors: A Shared Goal of Student Success” discusses the advising relationship and provides suggestions for developing an effective advising relationship. NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising is an international association that is committed to the success of students at colleges and universities around the globe. Academic Advising Today, an electronic publication, is distributed quarterly to more than 10,000 members around the world.
