The NDSU Information Technology Division has launched an updated version of its web-based system for monitoring bills that are being addressed by the North Dakota Legislature.
The Legislative Bill Tracking System provides ongoing information regarding bills and amendments, hearing schedules and the House and Senate calendar.
The system, which has been provided by NDSU for more than a decade, is designed to provide convenient and affordable access to legislative information for organizations and constituencies across the state.
“The LBTS is really designed to help individuals and groups focus attention on the legislation that is important to them,” said Marc Wallman, NDSU assistant vice president for information technology.
The Legislative Bill Tracking System is available at lbts.nodak.edu and access is free for staff members from North Dakota state agencies, including the University System.
For those outside of state agencies, subscriptions may be purchased on the site with a credit card for $390. Access to the system will be available through June 30, 2011.
