NDSU is scheduled to host the NDSU-KU Joint Symposium on Biotechnology, Nanomaterials and Polymers Oct. 3-5 in the Memorial Union.
Since 2015, NDSU has collaborated with Kagoshima University in Japan to develop sustainable materials for such uses as biotechnology and nanotechnology-based applications. Each year, a joint conference is held.
According to organizers Mohi Quadir, assistant professor of coatings and polymeric materials, and Mukund Sibi, University Distinguished professor of chemistry and biochemistry, “The symposium will facilitate student exchange and technical collaboration between the two universities. Such symbiotic events will catalyze scientific progress and spread NDSU's mission statement across the continents.”
Registration is $200 for faculty and $100 for students and post-docs. The last day to register is Friday, Sept. 25.
Symposium information, along with poster and lecture abstract submission guidelines are available at the NDSU chemistry and biochemistry website.
