Institute for Regional Studies and University Archives on Marketplace

SHARE

The NDSU Libraries’ Institute for Regional Studies and University Archives are now on NDSU Marketplace, allowing users to pay by credit card for various services offered by the archives. The site includes the option for making a monetary donation to the archives as well. On-site researchers at the archives also use Marketplace to make payment.

The archives offers a wide range of copy services, particularly from resources found on its many public databases, as well as digital copies from its extensive photographic resources.

According to John Bye, director and university archivist, the archives has already seen an increase in the number of requests for copies by people using the new service. He said people appreciate the convenience of paying via credit card. The site accepts Visa, MasterCard and Discover.

Bye said requests are coming from across the United States and internationally.

There is a “Donations” link on the archives website at www.ndsu.edu/archives that leads to the Marketplace site. For payment of other services, the archives staff will direct the requestor to the proper site when the billing amount has been determined.

For questions regarding the new service, contact the archives staff at 1-8877.
