The 24th annual United Way Silent Auction, offered by NDSU’s IT Division and Department of Computer Science, is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 28. All proceeds will be added to NDSU’s overall United Way campaign contribution.
Organizers are currently planning on an “in-person” event, but contingency plans also are being made to move the event online if necessary due to COVID-19 precautionary measures that may still be in effect. A decision will come in October.
The organizers ask NDSU personnel to go through their closets, cabinets and storage spaces to search for items to donate to the cause. Information regarding where and when to bring donated items will come in September.
Contributors are asked to take a photo of each individual item or set of items, to be used for an online silent auction, if needed. Send the photos to danyelle.marthaler@ndsu.edu.
