President Bresciani hosts student groups who volunteered the most during the flood

This afternoon, NDSU President Dean L. Bresciani will host the student groups who logged the most volunteer hours during the 2011 flood fight. 

President Bresciani challenged students in four categories – athletics, greeks, residence halls and student organizations – to compete for the most volunteer hours. 

The groups are:

NDSU football team – 500 hours
Theta Chi fraternity – 406 hours
Thompson Hall residents – 207 hours
Nordic Ski club – 52.2 hours

Overall, NDSU volunteers logged more than 4,000 hours on the flood fight.
