Student recognized by Applied Agricultural Economics Association

Andrea VanWinkle, a graduate student in the agribusiness and applied economics department, competed as one of the top eight finalists in the Graduate Student Extension Competition at the Applied Agricultural Economics Association meeting in Pittsburgh this summer.

VanWinkle presented her thesis research in an extension setting to a panel of judges and her peers. She was recognized at the Extension section luncheon. Her mentor and adviser for the competition was Joleen Hadrich, assistant professor of agribusiness and applied economics.
