The NDSU Counseling Center in Ceres Hall is slated to be remodeled to better serve students beginning Monday, May 16. It will reopen on Friday, May 20, at its new temporary location at the Stop N Go Center, 1919 North University Drive, Suite 1.

“The Counseling Center is excited about the upcoming remodeling of its Ceres Hall location,” said Bill Burns, Counseling Center director. “We will continue to offer high-quality counseling services to our students while relocating to the Stop N Go Center for a year. The newly remodeled Center should provide a more welcoming and modern atmosphere for students.”

Counseling Center staff will be available for emergency related situations on May 16-19. Students can call 701-231-7671 for help as needed during this time.

Free two-hour parking will be available for students using the Counseling Center during the relocation period. Bus number 34 runs routes from the main NDSU transit hub to the new location every 15 minutes.

The Counseling Center is tentatively scheduled to return to a newly remodeled, modern office space in May 2023.

The NDSU Counseling Center provides a free and confidential setting in which students can explore concerns of a personal or academic nature. Students in counseling can explore a variety of concerns that may prevent them from functioning at their optimum levels.

Counseling Center services are available to students year-round. Hours during the academic year are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Summer hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

As a student-focused, land-grant, research university, we serve our citizens.
