SHARE

Matthew Patnode, associate professor of music, was invited to perform at the North American Saxophone Alliance national conference, March 15-18, at Arizona State University in Tempe. He performed in a saxophone, percussion and piano trio with Lisa Rogers, professor of percussion at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, and Christina Eide, instructor of piano at Glendale Community College in Glendale, Ariz.

They performed three movements from Barbara Thompson’s Rhythm of the Gods: “Vision of Love,” “Love Stood at my Door” and “Wisdom.” Thompson is a British saxophonist and composer whose work is inspired by Greek mythology.
