The 2012 NDSU faculty and staff campaign is under way. Titled “The Power of One,” the fund drive focuses on participation by faculty and staff to provide gifts to enhance student success.
Co-chairs for the 2012 campaign are Jane Schuh from the College of Agriculture, Food Systems, and Natural Resources and Linda Wiedmann from the College of Human Development and Education.
“It doesn’t matter how much you give, but that you give,” the chairs wrote in a recent campaign newsletter. “It takes the power of just one person, one commitment, one gift to give the very best for one student’s academic experience at NDSU.”
The chairs said during the past seven years, a total of 4,425 donors from the campus community have committed 9,262 gifts totaling more than $2.6 million.
“Please join us in making a gift to the 2012 Faculty and Staff Campaign to a college, department, scholarship or fund of your choice by April 30,” the chair wrote. “As a donor, you not only provide much-needed financial support, you express belief in the value of our mission.”
NDSU is student focused and committed to its land-grant mission.
