The NDSU Art Cinema Series, a partnership with the NDSU Department of Visual Arts and the Fargo Theatre, will begin in September with the showing of “Onegin,” a passionate tale of unrequited love starring Ralph Fiennes and Liv Tyler. The film will be shown Monday, Sept. 10, at 7 p.m. at the Fargo Theatre. Tickets are $5.
The NDSU Art Cinema Series presents an intelligent and unique film once per month at the Fargo Theatre. Future films include:
• Oct. 1: “Russian Ark”
• Nov. 5: “Annie Liebovitz: Life Through A Lens”
• Dec. 3: “Maya Lin: A Strong Clear Vision”
• Feb. 4: “Our City Dreams: An Intimate Portrait of Five Women Artists”
• April 1: “Linotype: The Film”
• May 6: “David Hockney: A Bigger Picture”
