The Memorial Union Gallery is displaying photographer J. Earl Miller’s “Dakota Moniker – Past and Present” through Oct. 28. Miller will discuss his inspiration and his travels during an opening reception scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 4, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Miller is a local photographer who specializes in diverse work, from straight photography to complex manipulations and montages. His work has appeared in the High Plains Reader and was featured in the “Art on the Plains” show at the Plains Art Museum. The Memorial Union Gallery exhibit features some never before seen photographs shot specifically for the NDSU show.
