The College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences is sponsoring presidential and vice presidential debate watches on Oct. 3, 11, 16 and 22. A college representative will lead a short prep and discussion for each debate.
Brief discussions/prep will be begin at 7:45 p.m. The debates are scheduled from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and a brief discussion will follow from 9:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Oct. 3 – David Silkenat will lead debate bingo in Minard room 222
- Oct. 11 – The NDSU forensics team will do a parliamentary style division of the house event in IACC room 104
- Oct. 16 – Peter Balega’s campaigns and elections class will have a national Twitter feed running simultaneously in Minard room 222
- Oct. 22 –Thomas Ambrosio and Nick Bauroth will lead a discussion from a political science perspective in Minard room 222.
