A congratulatory letter to Khan from the society stated, “As a fellow, you take your place among the most senior and respected professionals in information technology. Fellowship is one of the British Computer Society's most valuable assets. Combining a wealth of knowledge and experience, our fellows enable the society to have real influence in the industry.”
