Several campus fundraising events are scheduled to assist Hannah Linz, a senior women’s basketball player who is in treatment for cancer.
The “Hoops for Hannah” project will hold free will donations at each home Bison athletic event until March 2. This includes basketball, wrestling and track and field.
Raffles are scheduled for the Feb. 23 women’s basketball game and Feb. 26 men’s basketball game. Tickets are $5, and prizes include such items as autographed footballs, volleyballs and sweatshirts.
On March 4, a free will donation will be held at a spaghetti feed and silent auction sponsored by Blue Key and the Student Athlete Advisory Council. The event is scheduled for 5-8 p.m. at NDSU’s McGovern Alumni Center.
The “Battle of the Cents-es” also was held Feb. 11-15. The ambassador organizations in the College of Pharmacy, Nursing, and Allied Sciences and College of Engineering and Architecture raised money in Sudro Hall, Memorial Union, Renaissance Hall and the Engineering Complex.
