NDSU Libraries announced full online access to The Chronicle of Higher Education. The Chronicle is considered academe’s primary resource for news, information and employment notices.
All NDSU users may access The Chronicle at chronicle.com on campus via the Web and off-campus by creating an account using a valid NDSU email address.
Although users can see full content anywhere on campus without creating an account, doing so will allow them to sign up for newsletters, comment on articles, participate in discussion forums and use the suite of job tools. To create an account at chronicle.com, click on the “create” link at the top right-hand side of the page. Access also includes use on web browser-enabled mobile devices and through a downloadable app for the iPad (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id414901678). For persons who already have accounts, they should not need to create a new one. Online assistance for forgotten passwords is available at http://chronicle.com/myaccount/login/forgotpassword/.
For assistance getting started with The Chronicle, contact the NDSU Libraries’ reference desk at 701-231-8886, ndsu.library.reference@ndsu.edu, or through Instant Messaging on the NDSU Libraries website.
Funding for The Chronicle is provided by the Provost’s Office.
NDSU is recognized as one of the nation's top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
