Donald Warne, director of NDSU’s Master of Public Health program, was awarded a U.S. Speaker and Specialist Grant to undertake a Web chat project. The notification came from Rhobyn Costen-Sykes, regional coordination officer for the Office of Western Hemisphere Affairs of the Bureau of International Programs.
Warne received an honorarium for participating in “Aboriginal Health and Outreach,” a digital videoconference on April 18. The program addressed issues of concern to the United States and was intended to enhance mutual understanding and cooperation.
NDSU is recognized as one of the nation's top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
