Carol Archbold, associate professor of criminal justice, has been chosen as the 2012 Outstanding Reviewer by Policing: An International Journal of Police Strategies and Management, a top-ranked policing journal in criminal justice.
This is the second time Archbold has received the award; she was also named Outstanding Reviewer in 2009. Her other honors include the 2013 Chamber of Commerce NDSU Distinguished Faculty Service Award and the 2011 Outstanding Research and Creative Activity Award from the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.
Archbold joined NDSU in 2005. She earned her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in sociology from the University of North Dakota and her doctorate in criminal justice at the University Nebraska-Omaha.
NDSU is recognized as one of the nation's top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
