NDSU President Dean L. Bresciani and student body president Robbie Lauf are scheduled to welcome new students Monday, Aug. 26, from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Bresciani and Lauf will address the incoming students and lead them, as a class, through the university gates, located on the corner of University Drive and 12th Avenue North.
Bresciani also will introduce Aloysia Pfeiffer, the first student to be admitted for fall semester. Pfeiffer, who will major in mathematics education and music, is from Fargo.
Fall classes begin Monday, Aug. 26, at 4 p.m.
NDSU is recognized as one of the nation's top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
