NDSU Student Government is scheduled to host a Yell Practice event Wednesday, Sept. 4, at 8 p.m. at the Fargodome to teach NDSU cheers and traditions before the football home opener against Ferris State on Sept. 7.
“This year’s Yell Practice will be an incredible opportunity to learn the traditions, cheers and culture of Bison football,” said Robbie Lauf, student body president. “The program will feature NDSU Yell Leaders, who embody everything that is Bison Pride. I encourage everyone to attend.”
Students attending the event will hear from NDSU President Dean L. Bresciani, Yell Leaders Alex Koppy, Stephen Kessler and Brandon Miller and Bison quarterback Brock Jensen.
The event was initiated and organized last year by Student Government.
NDSU is recognized as one of the nation’s top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
