The third annual Take Back the Night event is scheduled on the NDSU campus. An educational program, march through campus and candlelight vigil are scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 19, at 7 p.m. beginning in Festival Concert Hall. All NDSU students, faculty and staff are invited to participate.
“Take Back the Night is a time for the campus to come together and, in a very visible way, shatter the silence that often surrounds sexual and relationship violence,” said Sarah Dodd, assistant director of sexual assault prevention and advocacy.
In addition to supporting those impacted by violence, the event will be used to collect needed items for YWCA Cass Clay. For more information, visit www.ywcacassclay.org/donations/current_needs.html.
The NDSU event is sponsored by Office of Student Life – Sexual Assault Prevention and Advocacy, Residence Life, Women and Gender Studies, Student Activities Office, and Equity and Diversity Center.

NDSU is recognized as one of the nation's top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
