The North Dakota State University Libraries monthly speaker series is scheduled to host a discussion of “Spectacular North Dakota Hikes: Bring the Dog” with author Susan Wefald at 4 p.m. Monday in the Weber Reading Room.
Wefald, a former North Dakota Public Service Commissioner, is on the board of several non-profit organizations and plays violin in the Bismarck-Mandan Symphony. She and her husband have been hiking for more than 40 years and often bring their goldendoodle, Sandy, along.
NDSU is recognized as one of the top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
