NDSU students are encouraged to collaborate with an advisor and develop a unique program of study that meets their specific interests.
One Program, Three Tracks
You’ll choose from one of three options to study; a general economics track, a quantitative economics track or a business economics track depending on your career goals.
Comprehensive Curriculum
Coursework includes micro- and macroeconomics, environmental and natural resource economics, international trade, industrial organization, economic development, economics of entrepreneurship, health economics and public economics. You may also sample from a wide variety of electives or, as many other students do, earn a second major in another subject, such as international studies, political science, history, business or mathematics.

Accelerated Master’s Option Available
High-achieving undergraduates can complete both their bachelor's degree and a Master's of Science in agribusiness and applied economics in five years.
