We offer pathways in general microbiology, pre-health, pre-veterinary, biotechnology (double major) and accelerated options. A microbiology major also prepares students for professional schools in medicine, veterinary, dental, optometry and physician assistant programs.

We have an active Biotechnology and Microbiology Club that tours local businesses related to biotechnology and microbiology, hosts guest speakers and meets for social events throughout the year.

Accelerated Master’s Option Available

High-achieving undergraduates can complete both their bachelor's degree and a Master of Science in Microbiology or a Master of Public Health in five years.
