Guidelines for Planting
-Gerberas need lots of sunlight
-Artificial sunlight may be beneficial when growing Gerberas
-They grow best in average to cool temperatures
-Temperatures above 70ºF may cause the Gerbera to not bloom
-It is crucial to water a lot on hot days
-In order to grow properly, Gerberas need well-drained soil
-High-quality peat based soil works best for growing
Food and Water Requirements
-Gerbera daisies grow best in moist soil
-Fertilize plants in ground every six to eight weeks for healthy growth
-If the plants are in containers, use liquid fertilizer every two weeks
-Do not over water
