Inroduction
As a student of NDSU I was asked to create a website for my Plant Science class and Tiger Lillies have always seemed to amaze me. So i thought i combine this assignment with my intrest of these feline flowers. These beautiful flowers are apart of the Lillium family. Their scientific name is Lilium tigrinum. They are perennials, whitch meants they bloom every year: they bloom in the summer. Most parts of the Tiger Lilly are eatable. There are two types of tiger lillies the oriantal varievy whitch propagates through bulbs that form at leaf axils, and the common wildflower variety which propagates by tuberous roots.
