Soil Compaction Study

This research investigates the impact of soil compaction on soil temperature and moisture. The site is located eight miles southwest of Jamestown, ND. Electronic sensors monitor air temperature, soil temperature 3 inches below the surface, and soil moisture 6 inches and 18 inches below the surface. The data is transferred to this site using cellular communication and updated daily.
