No. 7, Summer 20010 hiatus: n.: an interruption in time or continuity; a break in the action; respite from the usual course of things |
This collection represents work by the 20010 North Dakota Governor's School Creative Writing fine arts evening group. Each student completed several stories and/or poems. Much of the work produced is "flash fiction"--a form of miniature short story usually no longer than 300 words. It's a very compressed and challenging form, but well-suited to the brief time these students had in their creative writing course at Governor's School.
