Field Geology is a capstone course for the Geology program and requires knowledge gained in Geomorphology, Petrology, Sedimentology and Stratigraphy, Structural Geology and GIS.
The purpose of the course is that you demonstrate you are capable of integrating your knowledge to interpret the geology of the Little Badlands. At a practical level, it is a demonstration that you can conduct research and write an extensive report of the type required by companies and in graduate-level courses.
This Fall's field course is scheduled for August 30 - Sept 5 (subject to change)
