4-H Engineering Design Challenge Kickoff - Hettinger and Slope
Learn more about the 2025 Engineering Design Challenge (EDC) at the upcoming Kickoff near you. EDC is a statewide 4-H event designed for youth in grades 3+ to work together in teams to design and build a Rube Goldberg™-type machine that solves a task. The goal of the Engineering Design Challenge is to use engineering to encourage creativity, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking in young people.
At the kickoff, you will experiment with hands-on engineering activities, solve challenges and learn how to construct a machine. This event is a fun experience to use your creative building skills and learn more about the 2025 EDC Challenge - Feed the Animals! This is an opportunity you won’t want to miss.
Adults are invited to attend as well to learn more about becoming involved in supporting their local team as they work towards their goals.
Help us celebrate the 5th anniversary of EDC!
